Placement Test

This online placement test allows learners to find the FICE level best suited to their current language ability before enrolling on a Gaelic course or deciding to sit a FICE assessment. Candidates should be comfortable they can fulfil all aspects of the relevant FICE level before booking their assessment. The online placement test should be used as a guide and is no guarantee of a successful outcome in the FICE assessment. 

At B2 level the online placement test serves as a guide to the grammar content of the B2 course. The language level expected at B2 across all skills is too advanced to properly assess in an online quiz format.
